Starting September 1, all of the 815 McDonald's outlets in China will raise about 95% of their employees' salaries.

According to the China Chain Store & Franchise Association, after this change, the average salary at McDonald's will rise from 12% to about 56% of the lowest salary standard regulated by local governments.

McDonald's reportedly decided to adjust the salary system within its fast food stores in order to build a rational salary framework. About 40,000 of its employees will benefit from this change. McDonald's Shanghai plans increases of 19% and McDonald's Guangdong plans raises of 17%.

At the same time, employees in McDonald's have voted on their new favorite uniforms. About 100,000 uniforms will be tailored and delivered to China stores within two months.
