CAS Opens Institute To Focus On Creating Low-Cost Healthcare

The Institute of Biomedical and Health has been formerly opened at the Chinese Academy of Sciences Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Technology.
The new institute is an important science and technology initiative for CAS to offer healthcare services for Chinese people by promoting the development of the medical instrument industry. It will focus on building a stable medical platform and introducing technologies for low-cost healthcare.
CAS President Lu Yongxiang has sent his congratulations for the establishment. Its nameplate was jointly unveiled by CAS Vice President Shi Erwei, Vice Executive Mayor of Shenzhen Liu Yingli, and Pro-Vice Chancellor of the Chinese University of Hong Kong Kenneth Young.
