Henan Offers Subsidy For HIV/AIDS Families

Henan Province is offering a monthly subsidy of over RMB30 per person, which is the base security standard, to 68420 people from HIV/AIDS affected families in the province.

According to a news report on Sohu.com, concerned departments in the province are implementing the provincial government's relief policy. Of those, the civil affairs department offers RMB30 subsidy for the HIV/AIDS affected families.

Thanks to effective measures on the epidemic's control, HIV/AIDS spread has been reportedly been controlled in Henan Province, and the death rate is allegedly declining year by year.

News from Henan Provincial Health Department is that because of timely treatments, existing HIV patients have received effective therapies and their clinical symptoms has been dramatically improved with quality of life increasing.
