China Energy Sustainable Development Forum In November

The Forum on China Energy Sustainable Development will be held in Beijing on November 16-18 under the theme of "Energy Saving, Emission Reduction and Harmonious Development".
Organized by the Economics Division of China Academy of Social Sciences with support from National People's Congress Committee, China People's Political Consultative Committee and concerned Chinese ministries, the forum will discuss energy issues of common concern.
Several hundreds representatives, including officials from the local and central governments, energy and environment experts, leaders of energy enterprises and environmentalists, will attend the forum, which will try to grasp the pulse of China's energy industry from a global and general perspective with the emphasis given to the promotion of the healthy development of China's energy industry.
In addition, the forum will discuss such environmental issues as global warming resulted from energy, showcase energy enterprises that have made remarkable contributions in energy saving and recycle economy and call on more enterprises to join in the construction of an energy-saving and environmentally friendly society in China.
