Ashland China Donates RMB50,000 To Shanghai School

Global chemical company Ashland has announced a RMB50,000 donation to Minhang Qizhi Special School in Shanghai to renovate the student library for the school and provide new reading materials for the students.
"We are very pleased to make this donation to help a school that is focused on improving the lives of special needs children through better education," said Dale MacDonald, president of Ashland China.
The school has 120 students currently enrolled and with this donation Ashland becomes a member of the Love Alliance organization of Minhang Qizhi Special School.
Ashland China employs more than 400 people and has offices in Shanghai and Beijing, and manufacturing facilities in Beijing, Changzhou, Kunshan and Nanjing. The company provides quality products, services and solutions to customers in more than 100 countries.
