The Foreign Trade Division of the Ministry of Commerce in China has cleared out the performance of 779 Chinese textile exporters who have reportedly made false report on their export performance.
FTD says in a notice that it audited 906 textile exporting companies who had the performance allotment qualification and punished 779 of them because these companies have been involved in making false reports on their performance.
As each exporting company's quota is dependent on their exporting performance, these enterprises are now no longer eligible for receiving quotas for exporting unless they purchase from others. The concerned companies are said to be textile exporters to the United States, but local media and government press releases do not provide names.
