Sofitel Jin Jiang Oriental Pudong recently hosted the Shanghai Tourism Industry Fire and Emergency Control Drill. Vice Mayor of Shanghai Tang Dengjie was an honorable guest in attendance for this drill. The 47-floor Sofitel Jin Jiang Oriental was used as the test site for these fire safety exercises and Shanghai Municipal Tourism Administrative Commission granted the medal for "Comprehensive Management in Safety" to Sofitel Jin Jiang Oriental at the ceremony where David Baldwin, interim general manager, represented the hotel.
