RMB4 Million Raised In Charity Gala

Shangri-La's Kerry Centre Hotel, Beijing co-organized a Christmas Eve charity gala event with BN Vocational School on at the hotel's grand ballroom. It was a celebrity-studded evening with masters of ceremony Zhu Xun from CCTV and Richard Doran from Beijing Radio. The event was attended by about 1000 people and raised in excess of RMB4 million through a series of auctions and donations. All proceeds from this event are to be donated to the China Youth Development Foundation for allocation to BNVS, which provides free education to the city's underprivileged youth.
