The JW Marriott Hotel Shanghai management team brought smiles to the young faces of patients in the heart surgery ward at the Shanghai Children's Medical Centre with the donation of more than 100 Christmas Griffin Bears. Each charity Griffin Bear was purchased by guests and corporate clients of the hotel during the Christmas season. Hosted by the Chief Surgeon of Shanghai Children’s Medical Centre Dr. Yeming Wu, more than 20 hotel management and staff handed over the bears at an official donation ceremony which was held in the Department of Cardiology.

I am a nurse practitioner in a cardiology practice in ohio. I work with patients who have syncope and autonomic nervous system disfunction. I will be in Shanghai on April 18 -26, 2008. Are there hospitals or conferences I could visit. I am also a PhD student in Higher Education with research in disabilities. contact me with suggestions as to where I could possibly share experiences, practice ( I do not speak Chinese, sorry)
