Louise Shackelton, the British Foreign Secretary’s wife, recently arrived to open Care for Children's new project center in Beijing. Greeted by a Chinese drums performance and dragon dance, she met the special needs children at the center and unveiled a plaque with Chinese partners. The center will train staff from all over China in best practices for childcare and also set up a model of excellence in special needs education and clinical services.
