Anhui To Unveil Travel Agency Assessment Standard

According to Anhui Provincial Tourism Bureau, Anhui will soon unveil a standard for ranking and assessing travel agencies in the province.

By starting the assessment standard and implementing the ranking system for travel agencies, it is expected to improve the management level and service quality within the sector. The preliminary information from the bureau shows there will be seven aspects covered in the standard.

Those areas are basic conditions of the agency, operational conditions, operational performance, service capability, enterprise management, credit standing, and labor contract. The travel agencies will be classified into four grades: 2A, 3A, 4A, 5A, and the assessment committee will issue corresponding certificates and plaques to those travel agencies which meet the standards.

Anhui Provincial Tourism Bureau is still soliciting advice and suggestions from tourism departments and major travel agencies around the province. it plans to then issue the new standard by the end of the year.
