Hangzhou, China (April 15, 2009) /ChinaNewswire.com/ — Today a new company launches a groundbreaking social network. The network is aimed at tearing down the wall of misunderstanding between Chinese and Americans.
"Nihaoareyou.com is a platform for interaction not just connection," stated Jonathan Jenkins, founder and CEO. "Nihaoareyou allows people to interact with culture, consumers with brands and audiences with entertainment."
The website, www.nihaoareyou.com, uses an interactive video module that redefines the world of entertainment and advertising within social networks.
The software developed by Nihaoareyou Inc. places invisible layers over items in video. Users can click items of interest, which triggers a module displaying options such as 'more information,' 'send virtual gift' or 'buy now.'
Nihaoareyou entertainment caters to the Chinese audience while providing advertisers a new way to reach consumers. Users escape traditional advertising and are empowered with a new technology that allows instant purchase of any product in a show without interruption.
For Beta testing, Nihaoareyou has produced several pilots which cover topics from learning English to love and dating. Future plans include opening the platform and software to third party producers and developers.
"I love China and Nihaoareyou is excited to have the opportunity to build a bridge of friendship and understanding between China and the world," stated Jenkins.
