Beijing, China (August 25, 2010) /ChinaNewswire.com/ — The 2009-2010 China Hotel Industry Summit and Best Business, Resorts, Newly Opened Hotel Award ceremony took place at Diaoyutai State Guesthouse in Beijing on 6 August 2010. At the ceremony, Traders Upper East Hotel, Beijing was named one of the "Ten Best Newly Opened Hotels in China." Other Shangri-La group hotels to receive the award at this ceremony were China World Hotel, Beijing and Shangri La' s Kerry Centre Hotel, Beijing, which were named "Best High Profiled Hotels in China."

The "Ten Best"  hotel award series by the 2010 China Hotel Industry Summit was approved following comprehensive investigation, including expert assessment, Internet voting based on the 8.4 million members' voting and the 30 million daily visitors to HC360.com, third-party customer satisfaction surveys from the managing personnel and experts of different industries such as commercial, trade, manufacturing as well as hotel experience tours, etc.
