Beijing Marriot Holds World's Largest Thai Dinner

Beijing, China (November 11, 2010) /ChinaNewswire.com/ — In Guinness World Record style, Beijing and Tianjin Marriott Cluster Hotels, together with over 3400 Marriott International Hotels around the world hosted The World's Largest Thai Dinner on Wednesday 20th October 2010 at Beijing Marriott Hotel City Wall.

To reach out to Thailand Marriott Cluster Hotels in promoting 'Destination Thailand', as well as in celebrating Marriott International's 'Global Customer Appreciation Week, October 18-22, Beijing and Tianjin Marriott Cluster Hotels hosted Thai Dinner event for guests, customers and media. From Poland to China, Thailand to the United Kingdom, Marriott International hotels around the globe served up very same Thai menus on the same day in an attempt to break the world record for the 'The World's Largest Thai Dinner! The worldwide effort was in light of reviving tourism and inspiring travel to the Land of Smiles.

The event was fully supported and co-sponsored by Royal Thai Embassy and Marriott Thailand Hotels, immersing the 220 honored guests in the richness of Thai cuisine, cultural Thai traditional performances and customs.
