News

In order to raise the sanitation quality rates of public food and beverage utensils, Hainan Province will start a centralized management system for the disinfection and sanitation of public food and beverage utensils.

The program will be first implemented in Haikou and Sanya. All schools and kindergartens there that do not have the right conditions for disinfecting food utensils will be asked to use special sterilized public food and beverage appliances.

In addition, enterprises or owners will be punished for not using sterilizing food appliances.

Local media report that besides some star-grade hotels and large food and beverage companies, most of the small restaurants in Hainan Province do not have qualified sterilizing facilities or do not carry out their cleaning work according to relevant regulations.
