Cathay Pacific Airways is donating special sets of its 60th anniversary commemorative aircraft models and historical-uniform doll collections for an online charity auction being run through eBay in Hong Kong.

All funds raised through the auction will go to the Cathay Pacific Wheelchair Bank, a charity effort set up by the airline in 1996 to provide specially adapted wheelchairs for children with neuromuscular diseases.

The airline has produced a range of anniversary collectible items for sale to the general public as it celebrates six decades of serving the people of Hong Kong.

The collectibles include 12 types of historical aircraft models and a series of cabin crew dolls in each of the nine different uniforms that have featured on Cathay Pacific flights since it was founded in 1946.
