InterContinental Hotels Group received the 2005 Corporate Partnership Award which was presented by Her Royal Highness the Princess Royal, Princess Anne, President of Save the Children United Kingdom. The honor was conferred in recognition of InterContinental's excellent support for the work of Save the Children in China.

As the pioneer that introduced Save the Children program to China, InterContinental Hotels Group has a sustaining contribution to the program. It is also raising a significant amount of funds for the Child Welfare Community program work in Heifei, Anhui Province to help disable children's education, remedial surgery, care and protection.
HRH, the Princess Royal hosted the award presentation reception with more than 100 guests to celebrate 17 years on ongoing program work in China, and the essential partnership Save the Children has with the government and business community, without which program implementation would not be possible.
