Workers at Lotte China Food Company in Beijing went on strike on August 16, 2010, to demand better pay.

The strike at a Foshan-based factory owned by Atsumitec Company, which supplies auto parts for Japanese auto maker Honda Motor Company, ended after workers agreed to a 45% increase in monthly pay.

A strike is reported to have broken out on July 21, 2010 at the Guangzhou, Guangdong plant of Japanese electronics firm Omron.

The Southwest Management Bureau of the Civil Aviation Administration of China has punished China Eastern Airlines' Yunnan Branch for the company's returned flights incident earlier this month after some of its pilots had a labor dispute.

China Eastern has finally admitted that the returned flights of the company were caused by the deliberate action of the company's pilots and it has agreed to compensate the passengers who were affected.
