China Power Investment Co. Gains Environmental Patent

A Chinese engineering company has been granted a patent for an environmental-friendly way of gassifying and incinerating urban household garbage.

Patent No: ZL200610054403X has been granted to China Power Investment Corporation Yuanda Environmental-protection Engineering Co., Ltd., by the Chinese State Intellectual Property Office.

The method and system mentioned is for the gasification and incineration of urban household garbage, and avoids secondary pollution by dioxins and heavy metals.

China Power Investment Corporation now has more patents than any other company in its industry, which gives it a significant competitive advantage.

Statistics show that only 1.1% of Chinese enterprises have authorized patents, and only 0.17% of them have authorized patents for their own inventions.
