China's State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine has published a list of 46 websites which have been found to be promoting unqualified traditional Chinese medicine service providers.

These websites, which are designated as the 'first batch of false websites exposed by SATCMC in 2009", include the Foreign Affairs Cooperation Center of China TCM Research Institute, gaoxueya666.com, the China TCM Science Research Institute, lvtong060606.com, and the National Cardiovascular and Eerebrovascular Disease Prevention Association zggxz.com. Many of these websites claimed to be affiliated to the China Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine or the China TCM Research and Study Institute and some even declare themselves to be a China TCM Research and Study Institute.

By publicizing these websites, SATCMC is reminding consumers to take care to identify genuine service providers when buying TCM products or service online.

Details, these websites have been handed over to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology to deal with.

Since 2008, SATCMC has published a total of four batches of false TCM websites, involving 365 false TCM service providers. So far, 356 websites have been closed, but nine are still running and these are: zyykxy.cc, zflkf.com, fsw120.com, 999tongfeng.com, pfx369.com, yynpx.com, gznpx.com, dzmy.com, and bbkf999.com.
