Sweden's Cardo To Supply China Water Treatment Plants Worth SEK13 Million

The Wastewater Technology Solutions division of Swedish conglomerate Cardo has won contracts to supply and install pumps and mixers for two waste water treatment plants in China.

The combined value of the contracts is approximately SEK13 million.

The treatment plants, which are situated in central and northeastern China, are part of the country's expansion of waste water systems and treatment plants. In recent years, the Chinese authorities have made major investments in waste water treatment and have decided to invest a further CNY625 billion during 2009.

Deliveries are expected to be made during 2009.
