Red Cross Philanthropy Library Set Up In Tianjin

The Tianjin Red Cross Society has unveiled its first Red Cross philanthropy library and has donated over 10,000 books to local schools and communities.

Tianjin Red Cross Society is reported to have set up the first batch of nine philanthropy museums during this year's World Red Cross Day on May 8.

It is learned that TRCS will draft relevant rules and carry out on-site inspections on the construction of the libraries as well as keeping track of the finances and management of the libraries to ensure the quality of these libraries. And venues such as schools, senior citizens' homes, orphanages, and public welfare places that have a Red Cross organization and the basic conditions for reading are suitable for hosting the libraries.

A representative from TRCS called on more people and companies to join forces with them on the building of these libraries.
