Cigna & CMC To Launch Green Channel For A H1N1 Influenza Patients

Insurer Cigna & CMC says it will soon initiate a green compensation channel for clients who have contracted the A H1N1 influenza to ensure that clients can be compensated in a timely manner.

Currently, Cigna & CMC offers hospitalization medical insurance, hospitalization surgery medical insurance, and ICU medical insurance for A H1N1. According to the company's insurance contract, clients who've contracted A H1N1 will receive an allowance based on the actual number of days of their hospitalization; those who need to stay in an intensive care unit can get extra compensation and if they need surgery, they will get up to CNY5,000 as an operation allowance.

Cigna & CMC states that all its insurance products provide 24-hour guarantee to clients, including A H1N1.
