It is understood that PV has become a highlight of Jiangsu industry in terms of drawing investment from Taiwan. Apart from Taiflex, Archers System, which has already made investments in thin film solar panels in Xinyu, has decided to locate its CIGS solar power battery technology research and development in Xinyu. In addition, Taiwanese energy supplier Tatung Company has also expressed its desire to invest in the photovoltaic industry in Jiangxi.

In recent years, PV has become a new growth point for Jiangxi's economic development. To date, Jiangxi has designated Xinyu Economic Development Zone, Shangrao Economic Development Zone, and Nanchang High-tech Industry Development Zone as special regions for intensive photovoltaic development.
