SFDA Halts Sales Of Shuanghuanglian Injection

China's State Food and Drug Administration has issued a circular which requires that sales be halted of Shuanghuanglian injection made by Heilongjiang Duoduo Pharmaceutical Company due to problems with the medication.

According to a report from China's National Center for ADR Monitoring, this injection has caused serious side effects, and to ensure the safety of the public, the sale and use of the medicine will be suspended.

SFDA and the Ministry of Health are investigating the case.
