Chinese Websites Exposed For Illegally Selling Medicines

China's State Food and Drug Administration has exposed five websites that were found selling medicines without approval and passing themselves off as well-known brands, and has asked its affiliates at various levels to punish the medicine sellers involved.

The websites are merckdx99.com, which sells Moxue Xianfu'an in the name of Merck Serono China; bjtnbzl.com, which sells Moke Huoyi Jiang Tang Tablets in the name of China Renhe Diabetes Research Institute; jksohu.com, which sells Huoyi Shenjin Tablets in the name of China Clinical Medicine Association Renji Diabetes Research Institute; mxmnw.com, which sells Moxue Meiluoxin in the name of Beijing Merck Serono Company, and merckchina99.com; which sells Moxue Mianfu'an in the name of China Facioplegia Recovery Website.

In addition, SFDA has cancelled the license of Lida branded Lida Weigu Jian Capsules and revoked its approval number: Guoshi Jianzi G20060438
