Nanjing Sets Up Service Center For Migrant Workers

The first batch of two service centers for migrant workers in Nanjing has been formally launched in Hongshan community of Xuanwu District and Nanyuan community of Jianye District in Nanjing.

By integrating the public service resources of local government, NNPSC features four major functions: management services, protection of rights, cultural education and party, and league activities, and it can provide services such as employment, occupational training, social insurance fulfillment, policy consulting, legal aid, entertainment, family planning, public health, school education, and labor arbitration.

Currently there are 1.18 million migrant workers in Nanjing. To make these people feel like a new Nanjing resident, Nanjing has revoked unreasonable policies and limits and rectified incorrect behavior against migrant workers. Meanwhile, the city has carried various measures to increase job opportunities and special training programs for migrant workers.
