Environmental Carnival, the first environmental education themed park in China, will open free in Shanghai on November 7 and 8, 2009.

Said to be the first of its kind in China, Environmental Carnival arranges up to 20 types of interactive games including Forest Police, Shanghai Expo Green Pioneer, Cleaning Shanghai, Environment Protection Superman, and Healthy Carbon Recycle. Those who join in with the games will have the chance to win various prizes.

With the approach of 2010 Shanghai Expo, the Environmental Carnival also integrates Green Shanghai Expo into its programs, calling on people to take action to protect the environment and live a green life.

Environmental Carnival is a big environment program organized by Amway Environment Fund under the China Environmental Protection Foundation. Since the program was initiated in Beijing, it has successfully toured cities like Harbin, Chengdu, Hangzhou, and Wuhan and it will move on to Xi'an, Shenzhen and Xiamen after the trip to Shanghai.
