Dongfeng Nissan To Launch Green City Initiative In China

Ren Yong, the deputy general manager of Dongfeng Nissan, announced at The 7th China (Guangzhou) International Automobile Exhibition that Dongfeng Nissan will launch a green city initiative, developing electric cars and helping to improve the ecological environment.

Dongfeng Nissan's Green City Initiative consists of three parts: cooperating with local governments to advance the development of electric cars; promoting intelligent transportation systems; and committing to community, transportation and environment.

Ren said that it is the social responsibility of an automobile company to make the city green and the sky blue. Ren stated that as a leading automobile manufacturers, Dongfeng Nissan has been engaged in the production of environmentally-friendly vehicles and the improvement of the city environment.
