China's Ministry of Education has issued another warning to students planning to study overseas as a result of the closing of some schools in Australia.

The ministry stated that several language schools run by GEOS Group in Sidney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, and Keynes had declared bankruptcy and this had affected more than 40 students from China. The ministry stated that the Chinese Embassy in Australia is consulting with the relevant departments in Australia on new arrangements for these students.

Based on the current situation, the Ministry reminded Chinese students who plan to study in Australia not to choose any language schools affiliated to GEOS.
