China Huadian And CASS To Establish CSR Research Base

China Huadian Corporation and The Chinese Academy of Social Sciences have jointly unveiled their plans for a China Corporate Social Responsibility Research Base at the launch ceremony of China Huadian's third CSR report.

Reported to be the first research base focusing on corporate social responsibility in China, the CCSRRB is intended to serve corporations, lead industry development, and promote CSR in China.

As one of the CSR pioneers in China's power industry, China Huadian has established and implemented its social responsibility and index system in two years. In 2009, it carried out its social responsibility performance in four different areas, including development performance, economy performance, environment performance and social performance and made outstanding achievement.
