The strike at a Foshan-based factory owned by Atsumitec Company, which supplies auto parts for Japanese auto maker Honda Motor Company, ended after workers agreed to a 45% increase in monthly pay.
Monthly salaries will be increased to CNY1,420, from the previous CNY980, according to one worker who took part in the strike which broke out on July 19, 2010.
A spokesman for Honda confirmed the strike had ended and some operations had been resumed from July 20, 2010.
He also added that Honda's Chinese plants are operating smoothly and are not affected by the ongoing strike at Japanese electronics firm Omron's plant in Guangzhou.
Since May, a series of strikes by workers demanding higher pay has broken out in Guangdong Province and these have mainly affected foreign owned factories.
