China Mobile Limited has announced that it has been listed on the Dow Jones Sustainability Index for the third successive year.
So far, China Mobile is reported to be the only company from mainland China to have received a listing on the world's first global sustainability index.
DJSI tracks the worlds' largest companies that have a record of excellent performance in sustainability. The index covers the top 10% best performing companies of the world's largest 2,500 companies listed by the Dow Jones Global Index as its component stocks.
China Mobile said in a statement that the getting DJSI listing — for the third time in a row — is a reflection of the international community's acknowledgment of it's continuous endeavors in pursuing sustainable development.
With its core value "Responsibility Makes Perfection", China Mobile says it will continue to manage a fair balance between social responsibility and economic development and growth.
