China's NDRC And AQSIQ Launch Energy Efficiency Labeling Special Inspection

China's National Development and Reform Commission and the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine began to carry out special inspections for energy efficiency labeling from September 8.

A comprehensive inspection will be executed for manufacturing enterprises of nine products under the energy efficiency labeling management, while a sampling inspection will be made for sales enterprises and importers.

Focus will be put on the enforcement of the Energy Conservation Law and Energy Efficiency Labeling Management Approach. Enterprises behaving illegally will be punished.

The inspection will last for ten days, ending in September 17. Sichuan Province and the cities participating in the Paralympic Games can adjust the schedule according to their situation.
