In cooperation with Beijing Environment Exchange, China Everbright Bank has formally launched a zero-carbon credit card.

The new card is in gold card and is offered as a standard card and an overseas card.

The card features six functions including a recyclable chip, a carbon trace calculator, scheduled carbon purchases, and environmentally-friendly billing to support the Chinese government's emission reduction initiative. CEB hopes to raise people's awareness of the environment and promote a low-carbon lifestyle with this new product.

Climate change has become a prominent issue in China and the government has been actively promoting emission reduction. CEB's green zero-carbon has proved to be an effective channel for individuals to participate in the carbon reduction process.
