Lenovo Releases First CSR Report In China

Lenovo released its first corporate social responsibility report in Beijing on August 4, 2008.

The report unveiled the achievements Lenovo made in the year 2007 in fiscal responsibility to investors and industrial chain partners, social responsibility to customers, employees, the community and the Olympics, and environmental responsibility.

Lenovo also announced the CNY5 million donations made by its employees will help rebuild No 1 Jialing Middle School of Guangyuan City, Sichuan Province. Meanwhile, Lenovo has nominated five earthquake heroes to be torchbearers for the Paralympic Games to be held in September in Beijing.
