Tianyi Holdings, which trades as Master Kong, has initiated a water resource proposal contest to encourage the public to find innovative solutions to China's water resource crisis.

The contest will last for five months. It encourages students, environmental organizations, and enterprises to integrate their resources and to form teams to bring forward the most original and feasible solution. A road show will visit universities in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Chengdu to make the current situation of China's water resources clear to college students.

Experts from environmental research institutions, well-known enterprises and environmental charity organizations will be judges of the contest. The results will be unveiled in March 2009, and all the winners will be awarded with CNY500,000 as seed money for their ventures and also given advisory assistance.

According to a spokesperson for Master Kong, the teams with the best ideas will get marketing support from Master Kong, and the best teams will win the opportunity to work in the company.
