A total of 34 members of NWS Volunteer Alliance collaborated with the NWCL Volunteers, paid visits to elderly residents in Fengyuan Street in Liwan District of Guangzhou under the sponsorship of The Neighborhood Advice-Action Council. The volunteers noted their needs and presented them a gift pack containing a blanket, handkerchiefs and low-sugar food; while another group of volunteers stayed at the elderly peoples' homes where they enjoyed their time with the senior citizens. Volunteers from NWS Volunteer Alliance and NWCL Volunteer shared their experiences after the event.

The Guangzhou visit was memorable as it was a celebration of the seventh anniversary of NWS Volunteer Alliance and the second anniversary of NWCL Volunteers.
