It was learned at the recent Hunan Medical Instrument Supervision Work Conference that 66 medical instrument companies in Hunan had their production or operating licenses revoked in 2008.

From July 1 to November 30, 2008, the Hunan Provincial Food and Drug Administration conducted on-site checks on medical instrument service providers across the province, and found that four manufacturing companies including Changsha Lide Healthcare Product Company and Huaihua Xintaishen Pharmaceutical Company, as well as 62 medical instrument operation companies, including Huaihua Kaisei Trade Company and Huaihua Xintiandi Renhe Drug Store Company were involved in irregularities and operating illegally.

After a careful review, HPFDA decided to cancel or revoke the business licenses and registration certificate of these companies.
